Common Name The Molucca Dendrobium

Flower Size .32" [8 mm]

Found on Ambon Island within the Moluccas near sea level as a small sized, hot growing epiphyte with nummerous, unbranched, green, flattened, densely leafy stems carrying fleshy, very flattened, imbricating leaves that blooms in the summer on a branching, axillary, many flowered inflorescnece arising from near the apex of the stem and carrying fleshy, dark purplish red flowers.
