Found in Sulawesi on trees at very low elevations as a small sized, hot growing epiphyte with erect to spreading, leafy all along stems carrying many, lanceolate, somewhat sickle shaped leaves that are shorter than others in the section, that blooms in the winter on arising from near the apex of the stem, many flowered inflorescence inn a clustered head of dark purple flwoers
