Common Name Osmophytytum Dendrobium [refers to the flowers resembling a Encyclia flower from the section Osmophytum Dressler & Pollard 1971]

Found in Sarawak Borneo at elevations below 300 meters as a medium sized, hot growing epiphyte with erect, basally semi-globose, thickened above then finely cylindrical, somewhat curved, deeply furrowed when dried pseudobulbs carrying distichous, ligulate, apically bilobed, obtuse, basally somewhat twisted leaves that blooms on very short, 2 flowered inflorescence carrying milky white flowers
