Found in New Guinea, The Solomon Islands and the Caroline Islands at elevations of 400 to 800 meters as a small to medium sized, hot to warm growing epiphyte with slender, slightly swollen towards the top stems carrying a single, lanceolate, acute to acuminate, coriaceous leaf at the apex and blooms in the summer on a lateral, 2" [5 cm] long, 3 to 6 flowered, racemose inflorescence arising from the nodes on the lower half of the stem and carry fleshy flowers.
