Found in New Guinea at elevations around 1000 meters as a medium sized, warm to cool growing epiphyte with a short rhizome giving rise to simple stems carrying many, erect-patent, glabrous, narrowly linear acute leaves that blooms in the late winter and early spring on lateral compressed, short, 2 flowered inflorescence.
Schlechter states that the flowers are white flushed slightly with red externally
