Common Name The Royal Dendrobium

Flower Size 4" [10 cm]

Found in Chattisgarh, Jharkhand and Orissa India at elevations around 600 meters as a medium sized, warm growing epiphyte with fleshy, stem-like, erect to arching becoming pendulous with age pseudobulbs carrying deciduous, all along the stem, 2 ranked, lanceolate leaves that blooms in the later spring and summer on lateral, erect, 3" [7.5 cm] long, 2 to 3 flowered inflorescence arising most often on leafless canes and carrying fragrant flowers

Similar to D nobile but this one differs in not having the purple marking at the base of the lip.
