Found in Thailand, Malaysia, Sumatra and Borneo in hill forests at elevations around 600 meters as a small to medium sized, warm growing epiphyte with clustered, usually simple, occasionally branching, pendent, laterally compressed below, distal potion leafless stems carrying imbricate, triangular, apex incurved, sharply acute, rigid, flattened leaves that blooms on a lateral, very short, mostly arising from the chaffy bracts along the leafless portion of the stem, successively single, few flowered inflorescence
