Found in Sulawesi in montane forests at elevations around 1600 meters as a medium sized, cool growing epiphyte with erect, basally branching, leafy in the distal half at maturity, wiry, slender, persistently sheathed stem carrying distichous, suberect at acute angle to stem, green, narrowly ovate to linear, basally constricted, unequally bilobed apically leaves that blooms in the late spring on a lateral on the distal part, sessile, single flowered inflorescence .
