Found in New Guinea and The Solomon Islands in mistforests at elevations around 600 meters as a medium to large sized, warmgrowing epiphyte with clustered, pendant, longitudinally grooved stems carrying many lanceolate, dark green, distichous leaves that blooms in the spring and fall on 1.4" [3.5 cm] long, many flowered, axillary, subcapitate fasciles
