Common Name or Meaning The Samoan Dendrobium
Flower Size .72 to .88" [1.8 to 2.2 cm]
Found in Samoa in littoral, lowland and montane forests at elevations of sea level to 600 meters as a medium sized, hot to warm growing epiphyte with clustered, cane-like, leafy stems carrying distichous, coriaceous, elliptic to ovate-elliptic, obtuse to rounded apically leaves that blooms on an erect, 8 to 18" [20 to 45 cm] long, laxly 10 to 20 flowered inflorscence with ovate-triangular, acute floral bracts.
