Found on Mindanao in the Philippines in the mossy cloud forests hanging from tree trunks and branches covered with moss at elevations around 1600 meters as a large sized, cool growing epiphyte with pendent, branching, cylindrical to barrlel shaped, stems carrying thinly textured, entirely glabrous, linear-lanceolate, subsessile leaves that blooms in the late spring on an axillary, short, entirely glabrous, single flowered inflorescence with 2 arising pernode of leafless stems.
