Common Name Schuller's Dendrobium [Austrian Botanist early 1900's]

Flower Size 2.4" [6 cm]

Found in Indonesia and occurs in Irian Jaya (Papua) Province in lowlands as a giant sized, hot to warm growing epiphyte with plump, sturdy, basally swollen, tapering to a point near the apex stems carrying oval to oblong, dark green, glossy, fleshy, leathery leaves that blooms in the fall and winter on 1 to 5+, green with brown mottling, horizontal to arching, racemose, laxly 10 to 35 flowered inflorescence arising from the nodes towards the apex of the stem.
