Common Name Sikin's Dendrobium
Flower Size 1/2 to almost 1" [1.5 to 2.5 cm]
This hot growing New Guinea epiphyte occurs at elevations of 300 to 500 meters with cylindrical pseudobulbs carrying a single, apical, lanceolate-elliptic, obtuse, acuminate, cuneate below leaf that blooms in the winter on a wiry, erect to arching, from 1 1/4' to 4 3/4" [3.1 to 11.8 cm] long, racemose, laxly few to several flowered inflorescence that arises from the nodes at or near the apex of the cane.
