Flower Size 1 to 1.2" [2.5 to 3 cm]
Found only in Taiwan in primary broadleafed forests at elevations of 500 to 1500 meters as a large sized, warm to cool growing epiphyte with tufted, straight to somewhat curved, rigid, stiff, terete, yellowish brown stems carrying distichous, towards the apex, linear to linear-lanceolate, acuminate, leaves that blooms in the late winter through summer on an axillary, short, 2 flowered inflorescence with opposing flowers that arise from the upper nodes of the leafy stem
