Found most likely in eastern Indonesia as a medium to large sized, warm to cool growing epiphyte with erect, lower 1/3 with whitish bracts, leafy canes carrying leathery, ovate, acute leaves that blooms on last years, leafy cane, erect, straight, to 8" [20 cm] long overall, rachis to 2.4" [6 cm] long, laxly to 6 flowered inflorescence with the flowers held in a loose circular arrangement
