Common Name The Terete Dendrobium [refers to the leaves]

Flower Size .2 to .4" [.5 to 1 cm]

Found in Thailand, Malaysia, Borneo, Java and Sumatra in very wet locations at elevations of sealevel to 650 meters high in the canopy as a miniature sized, hot to warm growing epiphyte with clustered, erect, slightly fractiflex, non branching stems carrying in the basal portion terete, slightly curved, terete, subulate, fleshy, acute, recurved, often reddish brown leaves and in the apical portion scale leaves that blooms in the summer, on very short, single flowered inflorescence arising near the apex of the leafless portion of thestem

In Java a poulstice is made from the leaves and are put upon the forehead to help with headaches.
