Common Name The Doi Sutep Mountain Dendrobium [mountain in Thailand] - in Thailand - Ueang sae mali
Flower Size 1.2 to 1.6" [3 to 4 cm]
Found in northwestern Thailand and Myanmar at elevations of 1500 to 1900 meters as a miniature to small sized, cool growing epiphyte with unbranched canes that are thinner towards the base and carry 4 to 5, narrowly elliptic, persistant leaves that are unequally bilobed apically and blooms in the late winter on a short inflorescence that arises from nodes opposite each leaf on leafy and leafless canes and carry 1 to 2, glossy white, sweetly fragrant flowers.
This plant needs a 1 to 2 month drier period in the winter with less water and no fertilizer.
