Common Name The Small Horned Dendrobium
Flower Size .8" [2 cm]
Found on Seram of the Moluccas as a miniature to medium sized, hot to warm growing epiphyte with clumping, canelike, slightly medially swollen stems carrying ovate-elliptic, unequally, obtusely bilobed apically leaves articulated to the sheaths that blooms in the late summer and early fall on several, suberect, 3.6 to 5.2" [9 to 13 cm] long, 4 to 6 flowered inflorescence
Similar to and occuring with D bicaudatum but it differs in it's larger flowers with a conical mentum and a colorful lip with a transversely oblong, apiculate mid-lobe
