Found in New Guinea in ridge top forests at elevations of 800 to 1500 meters as a small sized, warm to cool growing epiphyte with slender, yellow, clustered, basally swollen, 7 noded stems carrying 2, apical, thin, linear-lanceolate, suberect leaves that blooms in the late winter and early spring on an axillary, erect, 5" [12.5 cm] long, 2 flowered inflorescence
