Common Name The Wart Carrying Dendrobium
Flower Size 1.6 to 2" [4 to 5 cm]
Found in New Caledonia in low forests, damaged scrublands and occasionally dense forests at elevations of sea level to 500 [900] meters as a medium to giant sized, hot to warm growing terrestrial with long, slender stems carrying terete, acute, unequally bilobed apically, alternate leaves held in the apical 1/3 of the stem that blooms in the spring on a short, single to 2 flowered inflorescence arising from the upper nodes
