Found in New Guinea at elevations around 300 meters as a medium sized, hot growing epiphyte with a simple, compressed, flexuous leafy stem carrying erect-patent to patent, glabrous oblong-ligulate, obtuse leaves that blooms in the spring on a lateral, compressed, very short, subsessile, 2 flowered inflorescence.
Schlechter states that the flowers are brown externally and whitish internally.
