Found on Ternate Island within the Moluccas in forests at elevations around 1000 meters as a small sized, warm to cool growing epiphyte with clustrered, greensih brown stems carrying 2 to 3, leathery, ovate-lanceolate, bidentate apically leaves that blooms in the earlier summer on an erect, arising from near the apex of the stem , 2.8 to 4" [7 to 10 cm] long, many flwoered inflroescence carrying pale violet white flowers
