Common Name Von Romer's Dendrobium [German Orchid Collector in New Guinea early 1900's]

Found in New Guinea at elevations of 1600 to 2580 meters as a mini-miniature sized, cool to cold growing epiphyte or terrestrial with slender, flattened stems carrying many, very small, lanceolate, apically bilobed, basally twisted, shiny, fleshy, rough, grooved leaves that blooms in the spring on a short, single flowered inflorescence.
