Found in the southern Solomon Islands and Samoa in montane forests at elevations around 700 meters as a small sized, warm growing epiphyte with spreading to pendent, subclavate, 5 to 7 noded pseudobulbs turning yellow with age, carrying 1 to 2, coriaceous, lanceolate, acuminate leaves that blooms on lateral and subterminal, peduncle to 2" [5 cm], terete, 4 to 6" [10 to 15 cm] long overall, laxly 3 to 5 flowered inflorescence with conduplicate, lanceolate, acuminate floral bracts and carrying white flowers with purple on the lip that do not open well and most likely self pollinate.
