Common Name or Meaning Wilson's Dendrobium [English Plant Collector in southern China late 1800's early 1900's]

Flower Size 1 to 1.6" [2.5 to 4cm]

Found in southern China at elevations of 1000 to 1300 meters as a medium sized, cool growing epiphyte or terrestrial with slender, cylindrical stems carrying many, somewhat oblong, unequally bilobed apcailly leaves that blooms in the late witner and early spring on a short few flowered inflorescence carrying pale rose, fragrant flowers

CAUTION Some references put this species as a synonym of D moniliforme but it has a different lip structure
