Common Name or Meaning Woods' Dendrobium

Flower Size .8" [2 cm]

Found in southern Papua New Guinea on shady trees in montane forests at elevations of 500 to 2000 meters as a medium sized, warm to cool growing epiphyte with clustered, club-shaped, yellowish green stems with about 5 nodes and carrying 2 apical, glossy, dark green leaves that blooms in the fall on a wiry, lateral or apical, 6 to 7" [15 to 17.5 cm] long, 4 to 7 flowered inflorescence with pendant, pleasingly fragrant flowers.
