Common Name The Sword-Like Dendrobium [refers to the laterally compressed leaves]

Found in Kalimantan Borneo in hill forests at elevations of 550 to 800 meters as a mini-miniature sized, warm growing epiphyte with a simple, erect to pendent, strongly complanate, leafy throughout stem enveloped completely by imbricate leaf bearing sheaths and carrying distichous, equitant, obliquely oblong-elliptic, acute, laterally flattened, fleshy leaves that blooms on a subterminal, short, arising through chaffy bracts soon becoming fibrous, successively single, few flowered inflorescence.
