Found in Morona-Santiago Ecuador at elevations around 1000 meters as a small sized, warm to cool growing epiphyte with pendulous, simple to branched towarrds the base stems enveloped by imbricating leaf sheath bases carrying distichous, dense, horizontally spreading, articulate to the sheath, green, linear-elliptic, apiculate leaves that blooms in the summer on an axillary, .4" [1 cm] long, much shorter than the leaves, filiform, single flowered inflorescence with a muricate ovary and capsule

CAUTION!!!! I am not sure of this photo determination so please use with caution

Disitinguished by the pendent habit, the deciduous, narrowly ovate leaves, the muricate ovary, the oval, fleshy rimmed stigma of the column, the well developed clinandrial hood, the lack of a ligule, the greenish pink sepals and petals, and the purple margined whte lip.
