Found in Peru in wet montane forests without locality as a small sized, pseudomonopodial epiphyte with a leafy, elongate, infrequently branching stem enveloped by sheathing leaf bases carrying ellitpic, acute, basally twisted so to be in one plane leavse that blooms in the late fall on an axillary, subsessile, shorter than the leaves, single flowered inflorescnece with infundibuliform, suequal to the glabrous ovary floral bracts and carrying campanulate flowers with pale green sepals. pale green, semitransluscent with purple markings petals, a cream white lip with small dark purple blotches and a column with a cream colored base and a dark purple marking surrounding the stigma and a dark wine purple anther.
