Common Name The Tarapota Dimerandra [A town In northern Peru]

Found in San Martin department of Peru in wet montane forests at elevations around 600 meters as a medium sized, warmgrowing epiphyte with narrowly fusiform, sulcate, geniculate stems enveloped by close tubular sheaths and carrying lanceolate, obliquely bilobed, obtuse base, successively larger above leaves that blooms in the summer on a terminal, abbreviated, peduncle provided with several nodessuccessively 1 to 3 flowered inflorescence
