Common Name or Meaning The Short Diplocaulobium

Found in New Guinea in montane forests at elevations of 500 to 600 meters as a mini-minature sized, warm growing caespitose epiphyte with a filiform, elongate, flexuous, glabrous rhizome and carrying cylindrical, terete pseudobulbs carrying a single apical, erect, linear, obtuse, glabrous, subcoriaceous leaf that blooms in the spring through fall on a apical, compressed, 1/4" [.7 cm] long, successively few flowered inflorescence.
