Found in southwestern Cape Province South Africa in dry to slightly moist sandy and gravelly soil at elevations of sea-level to 600 meters as a slender, beet-root red, mini-miniature to small sized, cool to cold growing terrestrial with that blooms in the spring on an erect, terminal, slender, cylindrical, densely many flowered inflorescence
