Flower Size

Found in Tutuila, Samoa and Niue in ridge forests on tree trunks at elevations of 130 to 270 meters as a mini-miniature to miniature sized, hot growing epiphyte with a short, ascending rhizome giving rise to distichously arranged, proximate, subspherical, angular pseudobulbs carrying coriaceous, elliptic to elliptic-obovate, obtuse to subacute leaf that blooms on a basal, erect, much longer than the leaf, glabrous, 2.2" [5.5 cm] long, single flowered inflorescence with sheathing, acute to acuminate, floral bracts and carrying a yellow flower.
