Found rarely in eastern New South Wales on ridges in shrubby forests on coastal and near coastal hills at elevations of 100 to 350 meters as a miniature to small sized, cold growing terrestrial with 2, conduplicate leaves that blooms in the winter on a slightly zig-zagged, prominently, curved bracts, 4 to 7.2" [10 to 18 cm] long, 2 to 8 flowered inflorescence
