Found in South Australia as a small to medium sized, deciduous, cold growing terrestrial species found in among shrubs in dense stunted forests and low heath at elevations of 10 to 150 meters with 4 to 8, conduplicate, straight to twisted, linear leaves that blooms in the spring on an erect, 6 to 16" [15 to 40 cm] long, 1 to 5 flowered inflorescence.
