Common Name The Few Flowered Diuris - The Banded Bee Orchid

Flower Size .6 to .8" [1.5 to 2 cm]

Found in S Western Australia at elevations of sea level to 350 meters in winter wet sites among sedges and shrubs as a medium sized, cold growing terrestrial orchid with 4 to 6, linear-filiform, erect, straight leaves and blooms in the late winter and early spring on an erect, 12 to 20" [30 to 50 cm] tall, 1 to 6 flowered, racemose inflorescence.
