Common Name The Elastic Drakea

Flower Size 1.2 to 1.6" [3 to 4 cm]

Found in Western Australia in coastal Banksia forests near winter wet sites at elevations of sea level to 150 meters as a miniature to small sized, cold growing terrestrial with an erect, wiry stem with a small tubular sheath towards the middle and carrying towards the base a thick, fleshy, shiny, light green, cordate leaf that blooms in the spring on an erect, [12 to 30 cm] long, single flowered inflorescence .
