Common Name The Irritable Arthrochilus - The Clubbed Elbow Orchid

Flower Size .4 to .56" [1 to 1.4 cm]

Found in Queensland Australia in forest, woodlands and heathlands at elevations of sealevel to 350 meters as a miniature to just medium sized, warm growing terrestrial with an ovoid tuber giving rise to 2 different growths, one a rosette of 3 to 5, bluish green, elliptic, acute leaves and another with just a wiry, leafless stem with one sheathing bract giving rise in the later spring through summer to an erect, 4.8 to 14" [12 to 35 cm] long, 5 to 30 flowered inflorescence
