Found in Espiritu Santo state of Brazil at elevations around 1000 meters as a mini-miniature sized, warm to cool growing epiphyte with erect to suberect ramicauls enveloped by 2 to 3, thin, loose, tubular sheaths and carrying a single, apical, erect, coriaceous, narrowly linear-elliptical, acute, narrowing below into the base leaf that blooms in the spring on a subcongesteed, racemose, successively single to 4 flowered inflorescence arising from low on the ramicaul with thin imbricating floral bracts.
