Found in Costa Rica, Panama and Colombia at elevations of 50 to 1500 meters as a mini-miniature sized, hot to cool growing epiphyte with erect ramicauls enveloped by 2 to 3, thin, tubular sheaths and carrying a single, apical, erect, coriaceous, narrowly elliptic-obovate, subacute, gradually narrowing below into the subpetiolate base leaf that blooms in the late spring, summer and and fall on a congested, .02" [1 mm] long, successively single, few flowered inflorescence arising from low on the ramicaul, enveloped by a bract and has a thin floral bract
