Common Name Adolph's Duckeela [German Orchid Collector in Brazil early 1900's]

Flower Size 1.5" [3.75 cm]

Found in Colombia, Venezuela and Amazonas state of Brazil at elevations of 100 to 400 meters as a small to medium sized, hot growing terrestrial orchid with an erect stem carrying 1 to 5, acuminate, basal, linear leaves held in a single plane fan that blooms in the late spring on an erect, terminal, simple to branched, successively single, few to several flowered inflorescence arising from imbricating, triangular, acute floral bracts.
