Common Name Capart's Encyclia [French Orchid Enthusiast later 1800's]

Flower Size

Found in Pernambuco state of Brazil and is often cited as a synonym of Encyclia osmantha but differs in it's elongated, pyriform, dark green pseudobulbs and it's fall occuring 6 to 10' [180 to 300 cm] long, branched, with 3 to 5 flowers on each branch, to 90 flowered inflorescence carrying large, sweetly fragrant flowers.

Now said by Kew to be a synonym of

E advena, I have left them separate for now

It is found in association with Cattleya labiata.
