Common Name The Oblong Encyclia

Found in Cuba and the Isle of Pines as a small sized, warm growing epiphyte with oblong-ovoid pseudobulbs carrying 1 to 2 apical, rigid, coriaceous, lanceolate-ligulate, obtuse, carinate marginally, conduplicate below leaf that blooms in the summer on a terminal, to 18" [45 cm] long, few flowered inflorescence and concave, coriaceous, triangular to deltoid bracts.
