Common Name The Cylindric Inflorescence with The Narrow Leaves Epidendrum

Found in north central Ecuador in cloud forests at elevations of 1700 to 2000 meters as a medium sized, cool to cold growing epiphyte with an erect, simple, cane-like, laterally compressed above stem almost completely enveloped by 2 basal sheaths below and carrying 4, all along the upper 1/3 of the stem, coriaceous, oblong-elliptic-lanceolate, aristate, margin entire leaf that blooms in the winter on a terminal, racemose, laterally compressed, 6" [15 cm] long, 20 flowered inflorescence with much shorter the ovary, triangular, acute bract and carrying pendent, simultaneously opening, resupinate greenish white flowers
