Common Name The Rock Living Epidendrum

Flower Size 3/8" [1 cm]

Found in Peru, Venezuela and Brazil in low scrub Vellosia on rock outcrops between savannahs at elevations of 950 to 1200 meters as a small to medium sized, cool to warm growing epiphyte and occassional lithophyte with an elongate, branching stem with clusters of elliptical leaves that are clasping basally and blooms in the fall in nature on a terminal, paniculate, several to many flowered inflorescence arising on a mature stem.
