Common Name The Three Pointed Epidendrum

Flower Size 1/2" [1.25 cm]

Found in Antioquia department of Colombia at elevations around 2200 meters as a medium sized, cold growing epiphyte with a flexuous, glabrous cane-like, thinly cylindrical, stem carrying 2, apical, erect-patent, narrowly ligulate, obtuse, fleshy-coriaceous leaves that blooms on a terminal, erect, somewhat compressed, to 16" [40 cm] long, arcuate, subdensely many flowered inflorescence arising through an elongate, ancipitous spathe with patent, deltoid, acute floral bracts.
