Found in Mindanao of the Philippines at elevations around 500 meters as a medium to large sized, hot to warm growing epiphyte with erect, cylindric, elongate pseudobulbs carrying 2 ranked, lanceolate to linear-lanceolate, shortly and unequally obliquely bidentate, nearly leathery leaves that blooms in the summer on many axillary, short to .8" [2 cm] long, single flowered inflorescence with several petaloid, pale yellow floral bracts at the base of the inflorescence
