Found on Mindanao Island in the Philippines at elevations around 2300 meters as a miniature sized, cold growing terrestrial with a woody rhizopme giving rise to short cylindric pseudobulbs enveloepd completely by imbricate leaf bases and carrying 3 to 4, apical, linear to lanceolate, acute, gradually tapering below at both ends leaves that blooms on a subterminal, dark yellowish pubescent, to 2.4" [6 cm] long, few flowered inflorescence with lanceolate, acute bracts.
