Common Name The Giant Callus Eria [refers to the erect callus at the apex of the lip]

Found in Brunei, Sabah and Sarawak Borneo, Java and Sumatra in hill and lower to upper montane forests at elevations around 900 to 2400 meters as a medium sized, warm to cold growing epiphyte or terrestrial with an erect stem carrying opposite, linear-lanceolate, acute, basally clasping leaves that blooms in the late spring on 3, apical, erect to arching, 4" [10 cm], densely many flowered towards the apex inflorescence
