Common Name The Moss-Growing Eria - In China Wang Qiao Ge Lan

Flower Size .2" to 1/4" [3 to 6mm]

Found in western Himalayas, Assam, eastern Himalayas, India, Nepal, Sri Lanka, Thailand, Myanmar, Laos, Yunnan province of and Vietnam in evergreen broad-leaved forests on trees or rocks at elevations of 1000 to 3000 meters as a mini-miniature sized, cool to cold growing epiphyte or lithophyte with caespitose, depressed globose, reticulate pseudobulbs carrying 2 to 4, oblanceolate, apiculate, shortly petiolate leaves that blooms in the summer and fall on a terminal, erect, glabrous, racemose, secund, 1.25" [3.2 cm] long, 3 to 6 flowered inflorescence with 1 to 2 ovate-lanceolate, acute sheaths and lanceolate, acuminate floral bracts.
